Only bring comfortable clothes: shirts, pants, jackets, sports shoes, socks, undergarments, pajamas, slippers, towels. Personal toiletries are fundamental: soap, toothbrush, toothpaste, comb/brush, deodorant, shampoo, razor. Among the essentials: sun block and bug repellant. Useful items: handkerchief, sleeping bag, inflatable mattress, camera, mobile phone with charger, adapter, spare batteries (if you bring equipment that needs it), medicine, umbrella, flashlight, USB drive, pocket dictionary (for Spanish or various languages). Prescribed medicine, card or identification if you have allergies or specific sicknesses (for example, asthma or allergies to penicillin), etc.
